Dial Set-Up

1. Click the Start button in the bottom left corner of your screen. Click the Control Panel item.

2. Double-click the Network Connections icon. Continue from step 5. If your Control Panel does not look like this, go to step 3.

3. Click Network and Internet Connections. If your Control Panel does not look like this, go to step 5.

4. Click Network Connections. Continue from step 6.

5. Under the heading Network Tasks in the left hand panel, click the Create a new connection link.

6. Click Next >.

7. Select the option Connect to the Internet, then click Next >.

8. Select the option Set up my connection manually, then click Next >.

9. Select the option Connect using a dial-up modem, then click Next >.

10. If your computer has more than one dial-up modem, you will be asked to choose which one to use. The appropriate modem is likely to contain the text 56K or V.90 in its name. Once you have selected the appropriate modem, click Next >. Whether you see this screen or not, continue from step 11.

11. Type in a name for the new connection, such as breathe pay as you go, then click Next >. breathe pay as you go

12. Type in the breathe pay as you go dial up number, 08450798888, then click Next >

13. Type in your username followed by your password, then click Next >. You must to type in your password into two seperate boxes to ensure that it is not miss-typed. If you do not have a breathe account and are setting up a pay as you go (0845) connection, you can use the username breathe with any password.

14. Click Next >. If you would like an icon placing on your desktop to facilitate quickly connecting to the Internet, select Add a shortcut to this connection to my desktop before clicking Next >. breathe pay as you go

15. Your new connection has now been set up. If you would like to connect to the Internet immediately using this connection, click Dial, otherwise click Cancel.

That's it! You're ready to start surfing the Internet.
